Iceland hunting guide is for anyone who is looking for guided hunting experience in Iceland. We organize waterfowl tours where we hunt geese and ducks, upland tours were we hunt for rock ptarmigan  and seabird hunting tours where we hunt for auks. Our trips can take anything from a half day and up to a few days, depending on what you are looking for. You will be hosted by our small team of hunting and shooting experts in Iceland. All our Guides are experienced hunters offering real Icelandic hunting experience. We are a full time guide service, authorized by Icelandic Tourist Board that specializes in game bird hunting in Iceland. Our hunting season starts the 20th August and ends 25th April so we hunt 8 months a year. Our goal is to make it easy for you to go hunting when traveling to Iceland. Whether you want to hunt for half a day or a week we will be at you side, guiding you to a hunt that you have never experienced before.
Ytra Lón Farm Lodge
Ytra Lón Farm Lodge is situated in the midst of Langanes Peninsula, on the far reaches of one of Iceland’s most remote corners. 14 km northeast of Þórshöfn on road nr. 869. There are flight connections between Akureyri and Þórshöfn Mondays - Fridays, bookable at https://www.airicelandconnect.com/destinations/iceland/thorshofn .  Guests are picked up from Þórshöfn for a reasonable fee. When you arrive with your own transportation in Seyðisfjörður by Smyril Line itʼs a 3-hour drive to Ytra Lón. In our Lodge we offer  accommodation in 9 studio apartments for those who share our passion for nature and are looking for a quiet, tranquil environment. The apartments are equipped with bathroom and kitchen, everything you need for a comfortable stay for as long as you like. As extra service we offer breakfast buffet and Farm-To-Table dinner with local and homemade products, a taste of Iceland. In 1982, the lovely farmhouse achieved the new role of a friedly guesthouse. The house has been completely renovated and is now equipped with all modern facilities.
