Chris Hagan becomes the UK representative for North Iceland

Visit North Iceland is pleased to welcome Chris Hagan temporarily as its new UK representative through the Nature Direct initiative, a collaboration with Visit Iceland, Isavia, and Austurbrú. With a robust background spanning 25 years in the travel industry, Hagan brings diverse experience in tour operations, retail travel agencies, airlines, consultancy, and tourism organizations. 

Formerly the Director of Product Supply at Superbreak & LateRooms.com, Hagan managed a yearly buying responsibility of US$700 million. He is also the successful owner of a growing UK retail travel agency. Hagan's dedication to North Iceland is evident in his past role in delivering the first full charter program to Akureyri from the UK with Superbreak. He continues to promote inbound tourism to the region actively. 

His deep understanding of the travel industry and the UK outbound market offers valuable expertise that has benefited airlines, operators, and tourist boards alike.

As Visit North Iceland's UK representative, Hagan aims to utilize his expertise to strengthen connections with the UK travel industry, foster collaborations, and contribute to tourism initiatives.
