The Old Farm is built in the traditional Icelandic farmhouse style. The front facade has the friendly four gables, it is a beautiful place to stay in with families and friends. The house has a spacious foyer and consists of four bedrooms with made beds for 7 persons. Each room has a separate entryway onto the veranda and the hot-tub.
There are two separate bathrooms and the larger bathroom also contains a shower and a laundry facilities. All linen and towels are embroidered with the Old Farm logo and bathrobes as well. The living room and dining room are conjoined along with an open kitchen. This lofty living area is beautifully decorated and equipped with all the comfort you need to enjoy your stay. In the kitchen you will find selected tableware for 12 persons, refrigerator with water- and icecube-maker, winecooler, microwave, electric stove and oven.
Coffee, tea and chocolate are on the house.
In addition to the hot-tub , the veranda bears a full size barbeque grill and gives an access to an outside dry-storage shed for skis and other larger items.
The paintings on the walls are the work of a local artist, Sunna Björk.
Note that this house is rented out as one unit.
