The situation of the hotel makes it perfect for longer stays, as you can do many day trips from our lovely farm.
At your arrival, you will be immersed in a stunning setting, surrounded by mountains, water, animals & friendly people – all guaranteeing a peaceful and happy stay!
Family friendly, we made sure the little ones would get their load of fun as well: We have an outside playground, some games, and a looooot of space to run free in a secured environment.
After checking in in the main house, you will be led to one of our 12 brand new double rooms. Seeing how cozy they are, you will most likely have a hard time believing that before we renovated the building it in 2016, it used to be a cowshed!
After a good night sleep, you will be invited to join us in the main house to get a nice breakfast buffet to kick start your day the best way; and get all the energy you need for more adventures and discoveries!
We also have a restaurant open from June to September, where you can get one of Maja’s soup for lunch, and a homemade 2 course Icelandic dinner during the evening.
The dinner menu will vary daily according to Maja’s inspiration: Lamb from our farm or local fish, we try to work as much as possible with local products so you get to try new flavors!
If you are interested in having dinner, please make a reservation at least one day ahead: we have few spots in the restaurant, and we need to know a little bit ahead of schedule how many people we will get so we can organize ourselves the best way.
