The Beer Spa is now open
The official opening of the Beer Spa at Árskógssandur was on 1st of June. Preparations have been going on for a while and the construction of the spa went according to plan this last winter. It‘s safe to say that people have been anxious to finally see the spa in action, as a big crowd gathered at the spa for the opening.
The spa is open all days, open until 20:00 pm or 22:00 pm depending on the weekday. Up to 14 guests can enjoy the spa at the same time, each guest gets 50 minutes in the spa. 25 minutes are in the actual beer bath and then the guests are taken to a relaxing room where they stay for 25 minutes.
Of course, all guests who have reached the appropriate age have access to their own private Kaldi beer draught next to the baths. There is also a bar in the house where all kinds of Kaldi beer are served along with other drinks. Next to the bar is a restaurant that can host up to 80 guests at the same time.
