Raven Hill Lodge is a unique property in North Iceland. The lodge is an ancient sheep farm that has been continually inhabited from the time of the settlement of the Vikings in Iceland in ca 850 AD. Raven Hill Lodge’s rich history makes it a very special place.
Raven Hill Lodge is an ideal place for families, couples or friends, group events or meetings. The property consists of the Main House (the original farm house), 8 apartments in 4 cottages which have been added in recent years, and the Barn which used to hold the winters supply of hay, but has now been restored to a place where guests can hang out by the wood burning stove in the comfortable yet rustic lounge. The second floor has a large studio perfect for yoga or a few rounds of ping pong or watching a movie on the big screen.
During the summer months the midnight sun shines providing almost 24 hours of daylight. The views created by the warm glow of the midnight sun are breathtakingly beautiful. The Troll Peninsula comes alive with bright nights, lush green valleys, flowers and bird life.
